Community Connection Box

Modeled after Little Free Libraries and community pantries, this box will offer free access to shelf-stable food, basic hygiene and health supplies, community resource information, and even a small “take-one, leave-one” trinket exchange to spread a little joy.

The goal is simple: create a low-barrier, neighbor-to-neighbor resource that supports everyday needs while fostering connection, dignity, and care within our community.

The Community Connection Box is located in the Municipal Parking Lot on Brown Street in North Kingstown.

​

We’re currently looking for community partners to help support this effort through donations or by sponsoring restocking. Whether it’s a one-time contribution or an ongoing commitment, there are flexible ways for individuals and organizations to get involved.

A small box cannot solve every challenge in a community but it can create a moment of connection, generosity, and support when someone needs it most.​​
